Zongzi

Soak the main ingredients and ingredients separately in advance. Basically, soaking for one night is enough, about 9-12 hours.

Boil the zong leaves in a pot with cold water for disinfection. You can add an appropriate amount of salt.

Prepare clean scissors and cotton thread, which are needed when wrapping rice dumplings.

Because the zong leaves are relatively small, you need to stack two pieces together when you pack them.

Turn one side of the wide leaf over as shown in the picture.

First add glutinous rice, then add the prepared ingredients nuts, this can be determined according to personal taste, and finally add glutinous rice to fill the space and compact.

Then wrap the zongye with strength and fasten it firmly, so that a zongzi is wrapped!

Put all the wrapped rice dumplings into the pot one by one, add cold water, and cook for about 1 and a half hours on high heat.
