Antarctic Krill Steamed Egg
1.
I bought Antarctic krill online. Jingdong Fresh Logistics is very fast. The Antarctic krill came to my house in a frozen state.
2.
After slightly defrosting, take a little Antarctic krill, wash it with clean water, and drain the water.
3.
Take 2 eggs.
4.
Add water to the egg in a ratio of 1:2.0, add a small amount of salt and stir evenly with chopsticks. At this time, there will be a lot of bubbles on the surface.
5.
Use a spoon to skim the bubbles on the surface of the egg liquid (or sieve it), and then put some Antarctic krill in the egg liquid.
6.
Cover the container with plastic wrap, add cold water to the pot and boil it and steam on medium heat for 8-9 minutes.
7.
Add the remaining Antarctic krill and steam for another minute.
8.
After being out of the pan, cut out the shape of small fish with carrots, and slice the cucumber on top of the egg custard, which looks like small fish and shrimps swimming in the sea. Pour a little hoisin sauce before eating, sprinkle chopped green onion, and drop a few drops of sesame oil.
Tips:
1. The ratio of eggs to water is generally 1:1.5~1:2.0, which is my habit of making steamed eggs.
2. The bubbles after breaking up the egg liquid must be sieved or eliminated, otherwise it will affect the quality of the finished product.
3. The steaming time depends on the size and depth of the container. Generally, I steam 7~8 minutes with a lighter plate, and usually 10~12 minutes for this kind of deeper bowl.
4. Regarding the steaming time, look at the temperature of your own stove and the size and depth of the container. This can only be summed up by yourself a few times.
5. If you don't want to make styling, you can add all the Antarctic krill directly to the egg liquid, and pour a little seafood soy sauce and sesame oil directly after steaming.
