Astragalus and Red Date Chicken Soup
1.
Wash half a local chicken and cut into small pieces
2.
Put the ginger slices and green onions into the pot to make water
3.
After the chicken is discolored, you can remove the blood and rinse with water
4.
Put it in the pot again, add some water and boil it, add some cooking wine
5.
Then add the washed astragalus
6.
Add the washed red dates
7.
Boil again
8.
Because mine is an old hen, I switch to electric pressure cooker
9.
Press it in a pressure cooker for 25 minutes
10.
Pour the pressed chicken soup back into the casserole and cook for 30 minutes on medium and low heat, until the chicken is cooked and add some wolfberries
11.
Finally add some salt to taste, turn off the heat and simmer for a while
12.
Out of the pot and bowl
Tips:
The chicken soup is best to be simmered in a casserole with medium and low heat. Mine is a 3-year-old hen, so I used an electric pressure cooker to shorten the cooking time.
