Barley, Red Dates and Tremella Soup
1.
Prepare all the ingredients.
2.
Put the white fungus and lotus seeds in a bowl, add cold water, and soak for more than two hours.
3.
Soak the barley and red dates in clean water.
4.
After the white fungus has been soaked, remove the yellow roots and do not leave the place where the soak is hard, and then tear them up. I like to use scissors to cut them as finely as possible.
5.
If you have a lotus heart, remember to remove it. The lotus heart is bitter. Wash the red dates.
6.
Pour the white fungus, lotus seeds, red dates, and barley all into the inner pot of the electric pressure cooker.
7.
Pour in an appropriate amount of water, turn on the electric pressure cooker and set it for forty minutes.
8.
After the time is over, release the pressure and open the lid, and put in rock sugar.
9.
Cover the lid and continue to simmer until the rock sugar melts, then you can put it in a bowl and start enjoying it.
Tips:
1. Soak in cold water, shred as much as possible, use water, turn off the heat and simmer, remember these 4 points, the white fungus soup can quickly gel and stick.
2. The cooked Tremella Soup is best consumed on the same day. The overnight Tremella Soup will produce nitrite, which is not good for your health. After the white fungus is soaked, it will change a lot. A whole white fungus soup can be drunk by three or four people.
