Beef Stew with Yam

Cut the beef into cubes and put it in boiling water. Drain the water and set aside. Wash the yam, peel and cut into pieces.

Heat oil in a wok, add ginger slices and peppercorns until fragrant

Add beef cubes and stir fry

Cooking wine and soy sauce at the same time

Add enough water (without beef), add dried chilies, and boil to remove any foam
6.
Pour the beef in the wok together with the soup into the saucepan and simmer for about 1 hour until the beef is crispy
7.
Add the yam cubes, cover and simmer for another 20 minutes, pick up the pot and sprinkle with chopped green onion for decoration
