So far, I remember that I only ate bitter gourd once. Mom made the bitter melon scrambled eggs. I don’t remember the other flavors anymore. I remember only one bite at that time and I never moved my chopsticks again. It was really bitter. I’m the one who’s most afraid of suffering. Although they say bitter gourd is good, my mother will make it a few times every summer. Not many times, and maybe I don’t like it. The most common one is scrambled with eggs. For those who like to eat scrambled eggs. For me, bitter gourd is almost ruined this dish. Although I am so afraid of eating bitter gourd, I tried it once when I got caught up recently. I tried my best to remove the bitterness of bitter gourd and replaced pork with fish. It was very sweet. I want to say I kind of like bitter gourd

Bitter Melon Stuffed Meat (fish Version)

1. Cut the bitter gourd into sections to dig out the sac and seeds in the middle, soak in salt water for 20 minutes (to remove the bitter taste), soak the dried fungus in hot water

2. Chop basa fish, chop black fungus, diced green pepper, chopped green onion into chopped green onion, put in a bowl, then pour starch, egg liquid, white pepper, salt and cooking wine, and mix well

3. Stir until the fish is slightly sticky

4. Bitter melon is blanched in salt water for 1-2 minutes (to remove the bitter taste)

5. Remove and put into ice water to ensure the color of bitter gourd

6. Stuff the fish into the bitter gourd

7. Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, add bitter gourd and steam for about 8 minutes

8. The steamed bitter gourd will have a lot of soup and the fish will turn white

9. Pour the broth into the pot again, then pour in an appropriate amount of water starch, half a spoon of light soy sauce, half a spoon of oyster sauce, and thicken it into a sauce

Tips:

1. Bitter melon is blanched in salt water and salt water to remove the bitter taste, double guarantee
2. Fish is easier to cook, so the steaming time should not be too long
