Tips:
Homemade Doubanjiang is made by every household in Sichuan. It is very spicy when you make it yourself. Generally, you will use Erjingtiao or add millet to make it spicy. Because the two kinds of bean paste have sufficient salt content, there is no need to add extra salt. A little salt is also added when marinating the beef slices. Therefore, you should taste the saltiness when you start the pot. If the mouth is heavy, add the appropriate amount of salt.
You can replace the bottom side dishes with lettuce or something else you like.
The surface of the chili peppers can be crushed with dried chilies or bought ready-made. If you don't like to put the sesame pepper at the end, you can also put it in the stir-fry.
