Boneless "duck"-spiced Duck
1.
A bag of tofu coating is about 25g, which can cover a vegetarian duck
2.
Fold up the tofu
3.
Tie the tofu tightly with cotton thread
4.
The tofu wrapped in a proper amount of oil in the pan is fried on both sides and it is golden brown
5.
Add the right amount of water to the level of the tofu skin
6.
Add soy sauce to color
7.
Put white sugar to increase the fragrance and taste. If you like sweetness, you can put more
8.
Add various spices with star anise, cinnamon, cumin and fragrant leaves. . . . . Wait
9.
Bring the water to a boil on a high fire and simmer for about 30 minutes
10.
Turn off the heat and the tofu skin is still soaked in the soup until it is cooled and gently turned over
11.
After cooling, cut the tie rope and cut into pieces
Tips:
1 When tying the rope, it must be tied tighter, otherwise the vegetarian duck will gain weight during the cooking process. If the rope is not tightly tied, it will easily loosen.
And the more irregular the tofu is folded, the more it looks like duck after it’s done. Hahaha
2 The veggie duck is very soft when it is cooked, and it should be gently turned, otherwise the skin will break easily.
3 Wait until the veggie duck has cooled down before untie the rope and cut into pieces, otherwise it will fall apart
4 The prepared vegetarian duck can also be eaten as a cold dish and it tastes good when heated
5 Because it is vegetarian, there is no green onion and ginger
