Braised Chicken with Spring Bamboo Shoots

1. Peel the spring bamboo shoots, wash and cut into pieces, blanch the cut bamboo shoots for later use.

2. Boil the chicken nuggets in a pot under cold water to remove the blood.

3. Pour a little oil in the pot and stir-fry the chicken nuggets. The oil can be poured out. Add a little vinegar, pour in the bamboo shoots and continue to fry.

4. Pour in cooking wine and braised soy sauce and stir fry.

5. Turn to low heat and add green onion, ginger, garlic, and pour in hot water that has soaked the chicken nuggets.

6. Put star anise and rock sugar and simmer until the chicken is crispy and out of the pot.
