Braised Water Chestnut with Mushrooms

Choose fresh water chestnuts from which the shell has been peeled off.

Use a knife to scrape off the pale yellow inner membrane of the water chestnut.

Rub it with salt and rinse with water.

Wash the mushrooms with clean water to remove dust, and then soak them in clean water for about half an hour.
