This stuffed bun is made of red bean paste, sesame and walnuts. It tastes bitter in the mouth. It is made by squeezing juice and all-purpose flour from carrots left over from cooking.

Buns with Sesame Bean Paste

1. Bean paste and walnuts are bought in supermarkets, and the sesame seeds are fried and ground.

2. Chop the walnuts (walnuts can be roasted or raw) I use raw ones here.

3. The walnuts are chopped and mixed with bean paste, sesame powder, sugar and lard.

4. Cut the carrots into small pieces and stir with a blender.

5. Stir it into crumbles.

6. Add a small amount of yeast to the squeezed juice and mix well.

7. Then pour the carrot juice into 1/3 all-purpose flour and knead well. Knead the remaining all-purpose flour, yeast and baking soda into a dough.

8. The noodles can be made to 1.5 times the size.

9. Knead the dried noodles until smooth.

10. Use a rolling pin to roll into a rectangle with a thickness of 0.5 cm.

11. Combine the two dough sheets into one and roll them up.

12. Cut into 4cm long doses

13. Rolled into a spiral pattern

14. Stuffing

15. Close your mouth like a bun,

16. Turn the neck down into a circle.

17. After everything is wrapped, the second fermentation takes about 30 minutes. After the water is boiled, it is steamed in a basket for about 18 minutes, and then simmered for 5 minutes before taking it out.

Tips:

This is the first time to make a flower-patterned bun. It is not mature yet. Please give us your valuable opinions!
