Cartoon Piggy Bun
1.
Prepare all the ingredients.
2.
Put the flour and granulated sugar in a bowl, dissolve the yeast powder with warm water, and pour it into the flour.
3.
First use chopsticks to stir all the ingredients until the dry flour is invisible, and then pour it on the kneading pad.
4.
Knead the dough vigorously with your hands, and knead the dough into a smooth and soft state.
5.
Put the dough in a suitable container and put it in the steaming oven.
6.
Select the "fermentation" mode of the steaming oven, set the temperature to 35 degrees, and the time for 1 hour.
7.
Dip your fingers in a little flour and poke them into the dough. After you take out your fingers, the dough does not collapse or shrink, indicating that the fermentation is complete. Take out the fermented dough.
8.
Add a small amount of dry flour several times, continue to press and knead the air, knead the dry flour into the dough, until the dough is cut, the section is smooth and smooth, and no bubbles are visible.
9.
Then divide the dough equally into 10 equal portions of pasta.
10.
Add a little dry flour to each dough, knead thoroughly again, and round.
11.
Add the pink edible coloring for baking to the remaining dough and knead it into a pink dough.
12.
Roll out the pink dough into a uniform thickness. Use the top of the medium piping mouth to press out the round dough, which is used as a pig nose.
13.
Use chopsticks to make two small holes in the round dough sheet as pig nostrils. A total of ten wafers are required.
14.
The remaining dough slices are cut into squares, then cut diagonally into triangles, and nested together to make pig ears. There are twenty small ears in total.
15.
The remaining red dough can be kneaded into thin curly pig tails, and can also be made into small bows, small roses and other decorations.
16.
Dip the finished pig's nose, pig's ears, pig's tail, and the bottom of the butterfly joint with a little water, and place them on the corresponding positions of the white dough. Dip the black sesame seeds into the dough and use it as eyes.
17.
Prepare all the dough one by one and place it on the baking tray. The bakeware needs to be lined with greased paper to prevent sticking.
18.
Put the baking tray in the steaming oven, select the "fermentation" mode, set the temperature to 30 degrees, and the time for 40 minutes.
19.
After the fermentation is complete, directly set the oven to "pure steaming" mode, set the temperature to 100 degrees, and the time for 20 minutes.
20.
After the time is over, take out the baking tray and eat it after it is not hot. You can make a lot of it, and if you can't finish it in a short time, you can seal it up and put it in the refrigerator. Just re-steam it when you eat it.
Tips:
1. The amount of liquid should be adjusted according to the hygroscopicity of flour. The kneaded dough is slightly wet and sticky. After the fermentation is complete, add dry flour to knead the dough to exhaust air. Similar to the way of noodles, more kneading will make the finished steamed buns have a smooth surface and a dense inside.
2. I use a steaming oven. If you don’t have it, you can steam it directly in an ordinary steamer, and steam it on medium-high heat for 15-20 minutes.
3. The pink food coloring can also be replaced with red yeast rice powder or red amaranth juice.
