Caterpillar Buns

Activate the yeast with warm water and slice it apart. Put a little sugar. Pour in flour and neutralize. as the picture shows.

Waiting for the fermentation to become like this, the fingers will not rebound immediately after pressing it down, and the dough will be honeycomb when it is pulled. Indicates that the fermentation is complete.

Peel the ham sausage. Then sprinkle a little flour on the cutting board to vent the dough.

Steam over fire. After the water boils, the steamed bun is ready for about 15-20 minutes. Turn off the heat, do not open the lid immediately after steaming, wait for about five minutes before opening, so that the steamed buns will not shrink.

Tips:
Fermentation is much slower in winter, so you can put the container with the dough in warm water. This can shorten the fermentation time.
