Ingredients

Chaoshan Red Peach Kueh

1. Glutinous rice plus rice cooked in a rice cooker

2. Mushrooms, dried radish, dried squid, dried shrimps, celery and all ingredients are ready

3. Saute all the ingredients with peanut oil until fragrant, turn off the heat after cooking

4. Add the steamed rice to the fried ingredients, add the celery diced, sand tea powder, and salt to mix well

5. This is the well-stirred filling for later use

6. The pho is steamed and ready to be used for kneading. It must be hot

7. Pour the snow powder into the kneading bowl

8. The steamed rice noodles are added with snow powder. It is too hot, so use a spatula to crush the rice noodles. Put on disposable gloves and add a little red rice (red pigment). Mix the noodles while it is hot. The powder is hot enough to make it up

9. Add a little peanut oil to knead the dough when it becomes a ball, this is the already kneaded dough

10. Take a small dough and knead it into a bowl shape

11. Add the mixed 4 fillings

12. The rice is compacted and kneaded into this shape

13. The mold is sprinkled with flour to prevent staining, and the model is printed

14. The printed model comes out with just a tap

15. Spread some oil on the steaming rack. After steaming, it will be easier to hold and not easy to break. After the water is boiled, it will be steamed for about 15 minutes. It is best when it comes out of the pot😍

16. This is the red peach kuih fried in peanuts
