This is a Chaoshan dessert that brings out the finest quality---smooth and tender, melts in the mouth. Because the finished product looks like mud and is made of taro, it is called "taro mud"! "

Ingredients

1. Peel the taro and cut into four pieces. Steam in a steamer for 30-40 minutes until cooked.

2. Wipe the steamed taro with the back of a knife repeatedly and vigorously until it is like mud, without the slightest particles.

3. The fried lard is about half a bowl, and the oil residue is removed (the oil will be more appropriate for taro mud).

4. Put in the taro on a low heat, and use a spatula to move the taro in one direction, and repeatedly wipe it until it feels slippery (the longer the wipe, the better).

5. Add sugar and continue to wipe until the sugar is completely melted.
