Chickpea Tomato Paste
1.
Prepare ingredients: 60g chickpeas, 30g tomatoes, 2 walnuts, and water.
PS: I bought chickpeas in a Metro supermarket, and you may not be able to buy them in small supermarkets. If you can't find it there, you can also buy it online at Magnum! Buy a large bag at a time, enough for the whole family to eat for a long time.
The ingredients in the article only represent the amount of production, not the amount of meals for the baby, and can be shared with the mother.
When adding chickpeas to your baby for the first time, be sure to observe whether your baby is allergic to it.
2.
Soak the chickpeas in clean water overnight in advance.
PS: Chickpeas are more difficult to boil even if they are cooked in a pressure cooker, so be sure to soak them in advance! When soaking, you can put it in the refrigerator to avoid fermentation due to too high temperature.
3.
After the chickpeas are soaked, put them in a pressure cooker, select the bean mode, and cook the chickpeas until soft.
PS: Cook until the chickpeas swell and burst, and you can crush them by gently pinching them with your hands. Don't throw away the water used to boil chickpeas. It has high nutritional value and can be used directly to stir into a paste.
4.
Make a cross on the surface of the tomato, then pour hot water to soak until the skin spreads, and then remove the skin.
5.
Take a small and half tomato and cut into small cubes.
PS: Don't use up all the tomatoes, otherwise the taste will be a little sour, and babies don't like to drink them, so use less as appropriate.
6.
Chop the walnuts and take out the walnuts.
PS: Walnut is a kind of nut with high nutritional value, rich in protein, unsaturated fatty acid, phospholipid, vitamin E, potassium, zinc and other nutrients. But walnuts contain more fat and energy, so babies should not eat too much.
7.
Then pour the walnuts into a blender and grind them into powder.
PS: If you don't have a mixer, just use a rolling pin to grind the walnuts into fines. Because walnuts are relatively hard, if they are larger, the baby will easily get stuck in the throat, so when you give them walnuts, they must be powdered.
8.
Pour the walnuts into a bowl and set aside.
9.
Take out the chickpeas pressed in the pressure cooker, pour them into a small milk pot and boil.
10.
Then add the tomatoes and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
11.
Pour the boiled chickpeas and tomatoes together with the soup into the blender, and stir into a fine paste.
12.
After the chickpea and tomato paste is stirred, pour it into the pot and heat again, then add the walnut powder, stir evenly, and it can be out of the pot when it is all cooked.
13.
Finally, Ma Ma can also use yogurt to draw a small shape, the baby will definitely like it even more~
Tips:
Chickpeas are more difficult to cook, so be sure to soak 8-12 hours in advance to allow the chickpeas to absorb water, so that they will be easily boiled after cooking, which is also more conducive to the baby's digestion and absorption.
After I finished it, it tasted a bit thicker, so you can add a little more water when you cook chickpeas in a pressure cooker, and adjust the amount of water according to the thinness and consistency when you stir.
