Chixiaodou Barley Congee

Wash and soak rice, red adzuki beans, and barley for more than one hour

Boil a pot of water and pour in the soaked rice and beans

Cook for 30 minutes and the rice beans will start to bloom, turn off the heat and simmer for 20 minutes

Bring to a boil and add brown sugar

Cook for another 10 minutes, until the rice and beans are rotten
