Cod Fish Tofu Soup
1.
Prepare ingredients: 50g cod, 100g tofu, 30g broccoli, 30g crab mushroom, 20g carrot, 1 egg, a little starch.
PS: Cod can also be replaced with other seafood or fish, but it is best to choose fish with fewer bones.
2.
After the cod is peeled, cut into small pieces.
PS: The meat of cod is very soft and chewy, so you don't need to chop it very much. It can be eaten by a smaller baby. It can be cooked and crushed with chopsticks. After the cod is cut, be sure to check again with your hands whether there are still bones in the fish.
3.
Cut the tofu into small pieces.
PS: For tofu, you can choose old tofu or soft tofu. The taste of soft tofu is delicate and smooth, but the calcium content of old tofu is higher.
4.
After the water is boiled, pour the tofu into the pot, blanch for 2 minutes and remove.
PS: Tofu can be blanched in advance to remove the beany taste, and it is not easy to be broken when boiling the soup.
5.
Boil water in another pot, add crab-flavored mushrooms and blanch for 2 minutes.
PS: The taste of crab mushrooms is very delicious, which can add freshness to the soup. If you can't buy crab-flavored mushrooms, you can also use other mushrooms instead.
6.
Then cut the crab-flavored mushrooms into small cubes for your baby to chew.
PS: Mushrooms are more difficult to chew, and babies are not easy to handle, so you have to chop them up~
7.
After the water is boiled, blanch the broccoli for about 1 minute to remove the pesticide residues.
8.
Then chop the broccoli.
9.
After peeling the carrots, cut into small cubes.
10.
Separate the egg yolk and egg white, leave the egg yolk and stir for later use.
PS: In fact, this step can be omitted, just pour the eggs in the soup directly. But if your baby is allergic to egg whites, you can filter out the egg whites like I did, leaving only the yolks to pour the eggs.
11.
Pour an appropriate amount of water into the starch and mix well.
PS: Starch water can make the taste of the soup thicker, if you want the soup to be lighter, you can also not use starch to thicken~
12.
After the water is boiled, add mushrooms and carrots and cook for about 4 minutes.
PS: If you have broth, you can use broth instead of water. Mushrooms and carrots are not easy to boil, so put them in the pot first.
13.
Then add the cod fillet and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
PS: The cod itself has fat, and the cod meat is very chewy, so I didn't cut it into small pieces. First, I was afraid that it would be too broken and not easy to clamp. Second, you can exercise your baby's chewing ability.
14.
Pour in the blanched tofu cubes.
15.
Finally, add broccoli and cook for about 2 minutes.
16.
Babies over one year old can add a little salt to taste according to their taste.
17.
Then pour a little starch water and stir evenly.
PS: Before pouring the starch, be sure to stir it evenly again, otherwise the starch will easily settle on the bottom of the bowl.
18.
After the soup is boiling, pour the egg yolk along the side of the pot.
PS: When pouring the egg mixture, turn the heat to a low heat and pour it in circles along the side of the pot.
19.
The poured egg yolk is not easy to boil for a long time. After the egg yolk is solidified, you can turn off the heat and cook it!
20.
The delicious cod fish tofu soup is ready, and after a bite, the eyebrows will fall off!
Tips:
Do not cook the cod for too long, about 8-10 minutes, otherwise the meat will be firmer. To judge whether the cod is cooked, you can gently pinch it with chopsticks. If it is easily crushed, it will prove to be cooked.
When you pour the egg flowers, you must put them in after the starch thickens, so that the egg flowers will not sink to the bottom!
