Cornmeal Pudding

Ingredients: 200 grams of flour, 100 grams of fine cornmeal, 3 grams of baking powder, 3 grams of yeast, 30-40 grams of white sugar, 110 ml of warm water, and a few dried red dates.

Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl first; melt the yeast in warm water.

Pour the yeast water into the flour and knead it into a uniform dough.

Put the dough in a cake mold (brush thin oil on the sides and bottom), and let it rise in a warm place for 0.5-1 hour to double its size.

Wash the dried red dates, soak for 20 minutes, pour it into a boiling pot, add water and boil for 5-10 minutes.

Insert the cooked red dates into the surface of the dough and put it into the steamer.
7.
Turn on high heat, steam for 20 minutes, take it out immediately, and remove the mold.
