Crushed Walnuts with Xylitol
1.
Prepare the materials. The oil I use is peanuts grown in my friend’s house, ground-squeezed peanut oil, so the color is darker, but also more fragrant.
2.
Add xylitol and stir well.
3.
Add the egg mixture and stir well.
4.
Mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder evenly, sift and pour in.
5.
Crush the whole walnut kernel, not too crushed, or you won't see the particles in the dough.
6.
Pour in chopped walnuts and black sesame seeds, and knead with flour.
7.
After kneading into a dough, let it stand for ten minutes. Take small pieces of equal weight and knead into small round cakes.
8.
After brushing the egg liquid on the surface, put it into the preheated oven, middle layer, upper and lower heat, 180 degrees, about 15 minutes. The surface is golden.
Tips:
1. Don't knead the round cake too big or thin, because it will expand in the oven. If it is too thin, it will be crisp and easily broken.
2. You can also add some roasted peanuts, which is more fragrant than the walnuts alone.
3. Black sesame seeds can be omitted, or sprinkle some on the surface when brushing the egg liquid, depending on personal preference.
