Curry Rice Ball
1.
The ingredients are ready.
2.
Boil the rice first, then boil a boiled egg for later use (for making yellow rice balls after boiled egg yolks).
3.
Cut the chicken breast into granules and add a spoonful of light soy sauce.
4.
Add a spoonful of cooking wine and a little pepper, mix well and marinate for about ten minutes.
5.
Cut carrots into diced pieces, and cut potatoes into diced pieces.
6.
The curry paste is also ready, and you can start making it below.
7.
Heat the oil in a pan, pour in the cut potatoes and carrots and stir fry for a fragrant aroma.
8.
When the edges of the potatoes become slightly transparent, add water soaked in the ingredients.
9.
Pour in two spoonfuls of curry paste, mix well, close the lid, boil on high heat and turn to medium heat for ten minutes.
10.
When the soup is slightly harvested, try using chopsticks, and the potatoes will become soft and cooked.
11.
Put the marinated chicken breasts into a pan, fry until slightly browned, and set aside.
12.
One egg is beaten into egg liquid and sifted once.
13.
Spread into thin egg skins.
14.
While it is hot, fold the soy egg wrapper in half, and cut into strips continuously on the side where it is folded.
15.
Gently roll the egg skin from one section into a flower shape, and stuff it directly into the corner of the lunch box after it is rolled.
16.
All the preparations are done, and now you can prepare to make cartoon rice balls!
Brown rice balls: add a little light soy sauce to white rice, just wear gloves and grab well.
17.
Yellow rice ball: white rice and boiled egg yolk.
18.
The white dough is kneaded directly with cooked rice. Wrap the rice balls with plastic wrap, roll them into balls, and knead them as tightly as possible. Make the heads of the bear and the chicken separately.
19.
Rub some more as ears.
20.
Use carrot slices, ham, seaweed or black sesame seeds to make the facial features and ears of the bear and chicken.
21.
Pour diced curry potatoes and carrots into a lunch box, separate with lettuce leaves, and place rice balls/diced chicken and omelet flowers.
22.
Put the cooked rice ball on top, it is a cute bento! In the warmth of spring, make a lunch box full of vitality and curry aroma for your children.
Tips:
Chicken breasts can also be diced chicken thighs, which must be marinated in advance to make it more delicious. If you have time, it will be better to marinate overnight.
If it is chicken breast, add some oil when marinating, and the meat will be more tender.
When making curry dishes, it’s better to save a little soup.
