Dragon Fruit Flower Rice Ball
1.
Prepare ingredients: Rice: 2 cups (T5 measuring cup in iron kettle), glutinous rice: 1 small handful, dragon fruit (red): half, jam: appropriate amount, water: appropriate amount. The purpose of adding glutinous rice is to make the rice balls more sticky.
2.
Rinse the rice and glutinous rice and pour them into the inner pot of the rice cooker. Add water to the mark "2". The ratio of rice to water is 1:1. Do not exceed 1:1.1 at most, because we have to mix in the dragon fruit after the rice is ripe. If the rice itself is too soft, adding the fruit will be too soft and not good in shape. Here I chose the "standard rice" and "long rice grains" options and started steaming. You can also choose the menu according to your habits.
3.
In the process of steaming the rice, we process the dragon fruit well. Leave a little pulp and use a mold to carve out the shape of a flower for a while to decorate the rice ball, and crush the remaining pulp into a puree for later use. When the rice is mature, mix the fruit puree into the rice several times to see if the color is even and bright. Don't add too much fruit puree at one time to make the rice too thin.
4.
Take a piece of plastic wrap, take an appropriate amount of rice and spread it into a circle, and put a little jam in the middle according to personal preference.
5.
Bundle the plastic wrap tightly and wrap the rice ball.
6.
Decorate with dragon fruit flowers and mint leaves, you can also use your imagination to decorate the rice balls as you like.
7.
