Eight Treasure Pumpkin

Soak the black rice with water overnight.

Red beans, soybeans, mung beans, green beans and barley are also soaked in water overnight.

Wash Thai jasmine rice and peanuts with water and set aside.

Rinse the pumpkin with water and set aside.
5.
Cut the pumpkin into a V-shaped stripe with a knife, and cut every one through.

Remove the top cover of the cut pumpkin, and use a spoon to empty the flesh of the pumpkin.

Mix the soaked legume black rice with the washed Thai fragrant rice and peanuts.

Put it in the pumpkin.

Put an appropriate amount of water into the steamer.

After the high heat is boiled, turn to medium heat and steam for about 30 to 40 minutes. (According to the size of the pumpkin)

The steamed pumpkin is eaten directly by digging it with a spoon.

Or eat after cutting.
Tips:
1. All kinds of beans and black rice are difficult to cook, so soak them in advance.
2. In hot weather, put the soaked rice beans into the fresh-keeping room of the refrigerator to avoid deterioration.
3. During the soaking process, pay attention to frequently changing the water.
4. The total amount of beans should not exceed the amount of rice in order to obtain a better taste.
5. Because most of the ingredients used are soaked, the amount of water added to the pumpkin should be measured.
6. If you like sweets, you can put some sugar in the steaming process, or put it in when it's steamed.
