Emerald Steamed Pork
1.
Mince pork, add light soy sauce, salt, chicken essence, a little pepper, cornstarch, mix well and set aside.
2.
Wash the Chinese cabbage apart.
3.
Use a knife to remove the cabbage leaves.
4.
Add water to the pot, put the cabbage stalks in the pot and cook on high heat. (This stalk is related to the quality of the cabbage. The cooking time is variable. Generally, the cooking time is a bit long.)
Boil until soft and remove, rinse with cold water for future use. (It shouldn’t be too bad, it won’t work if it’s too hard. If you are unsure, you can take one out and bend it, as long as the stalk is not broken when bending)
5.
Rinse the cabbage stems with cold water and cut them with a knife. The blade should be slanted so that the cut will have a flowery feel. (A stalk can usually be cut into two petals, as shown in the figure, and the upper part is not square. It can't be used)
6.
After cutting, fold the square cabbage stalk into a semicircle with the inclined side facing up. When putting the meat, the lower side is slightly more, and the upper side is less. The lower part of the bowl is smoothed. First, make five semicircles to form a flower shape, and then surround it. Five petal type placement. (I made this shape, you can make it as you like according to personal preference)
7.
Put water in the steamer, boil, put the bowl in the steamer and steam on medium high heat. The time is uncertain, just steam until the meat turns white and darker in color.
8.
Take it out after steaming and pour out the water in the dish.
9.
Put the cut pepper and cucumber slices on the plate. (Please ignore the gaped bowl in my house, I only noticed it in the picture above. Hahahahaha)
Tips:
Sorry, please ignore the gaped dish in my house, I just noticed it in the picture above.
1. The steaming time should not be too long, too long will affect the taste of the meat.
2. When cutting cabbage stalks, the knife surface must be slanted, otherwise there is no feeling of flowers.
3. The last picture was made yesterday. Today’s cabbage stalks have been cooked for a little longer, and there is no obvious flower shape cut out.
