Dumplings are either boiled or steamed, or fried. I want to change the way of eating them. If you don’t want to do deep frying, it’s troublesome if you don’t need to talk about it. Why not try baking. A total of 2 pots were baked. The first pot was inexperienced. The dumplings were directly dipped in water, and the excess water was not removed. As a result, 5 of the 8 dumplings stuck to the frying basket and were torn apart. Why dipped in water? Because I used the air fryer to bake things before, it felt a bit too dry, not very tasty, and easy to burn. Thinking of dipping in some water, the dumplings will not burn easily. When the moisture on the surface is dried, the inside will be cooked. I cleaned the frying basket and wiped off the water, and I started to bake the second pot again. I added a little corn oil to the water, and I started by adding a tablespoon, which felt too little, but I added another 2 tablespoons and it felt almost the same. In this way, the dumplings in the second pot basically did not stick to the basket, except for a few cases that cracked due to freezing, and the roasted juice stuck to the basket. And the oiled dumplings look better than the color of the first pot. If you have the conditions, you can really try the grilled dumplings, they are crispy and delicious.

4. Shake off the excess water on the dumplings, and place them in the frying basket of the air fryer. The excess water must be thrown away, otherwise it will stick to the basket and it will be ripped apart. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

5. This is the first pot of dumplings, because there was no oil, dumplings dipped in pure water, and no excess water was thrown away. As a result, half of the dumplings stuck to the fried basket, all torn apart.

Tips:

1. If there is no air fryer, use the oven to bake. The temperature and time are for reference, because everyone's machine is different.
2. The dumplings do not need to be thawed in advance. Be careful not to use frozen cracked dumplings, which are easy to crack and the juice inside will flow out.
3. Dip the oil and water mixture before baking, so that the baked dumplings will not dry out and will be more crispy.
