How do you like to eat potatoes? Fried potato shreds or stewed potato wedges? Or a little bit foreign, eat fries, mashed potatoes, etc.? In my memory, the most common thing to do is to fry potato shreds. Later, after eating KFC mashed potatoes, I have a better understanding of potatoes, and I can also make mashed potatoes. But as a Chinese with a heavy taste, I think the light mashed potato tastes really dull, until I was late for an event dinner, the shepherd’s pie introduced today. The shepherd’s pie that was eaten at that time was a classic British practice, with the upper layer of mashed potatoes and the lower layer of meat sauce. The one I will introduce to you today is my modified method, the Melaleuca Shepherd Pie.

Shepherd's pie, also known as cottage pie, is a traditional British cuisine. The first time I heard that shepherd’s pie was on a food video, when a traditional British housewife introduced this traditional British delicacy. When it comes to pie, we think of fragrant fillings and crispy pie crust, but shepherd’s pie does not have a crispy crust like the pastry pie, but is made of potatoes, meat and vegetables without flour. The pie is regarded as a staple food. With popular ingredients and simple steps, even if you are a novice in the kitchen, you can easily complete this oven cooking, and entertaining friends is also a good face!

9. Repeat to spread a layer of mashed potatoes, then a layer of meat sauce, and finally put a layer of mashed potatoes on top, flatten it with a spoon, and then scrape the wavy pattern with the side of the spoon. (Traditional shepherd’s pie is to spread meat sauce on the bottom of the bowl, spread thick mashed potatoes on top and directly scrape out the pattern and bake it. There are only two layers and no mozzarella cheese is needed.)

Tips:

Tips:

1. The meat filling of the shepherd’s pie is not limited to sheep and beef. The roasted pork and chicken taste the same.

2. The most classic flavor of meat sauce is cooked with tomatoes and herbs that is close to Italian meat sauce. In addition, it can also be made into various flavors such as curry flavor and black pepper flavor. It will have a special flavor!

3. There is some meat sauce left, and it tastes good if you put an egg on it in a baking bowl.
