Fried Octopus

Remove the head and tail of the octopus, wash and cut into sections, add salt, cooking wine, green onion and ginger slices to marinate for a few minutes

Flour, shallot, ginger, garlic, star anise, add light soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to a small bowl

Hairtail patted with flour

The hairtail is fried in a 60-70% hot oil pan

Fry one side to golden brown, turn over and fry the other side

After frying the octopus, add green onion, ginger and star anise

Cook in the sauce

Pour in some warm water

Turn to a low heat for a few minutes to collect the juice
