A few days ago, I went to the mountains to pick some hawthorn fruits. The red fruits are not only beautiful, but also rich in vitamin C. If you have a bad appetite or accumulate food, eating hawthorn fruit can help solve problems such as loss of appetite.
Most people don't like to eat hawthorn fruit. It feels too sour. In fact, just add some sugar to process it, and it will become sweet and sour. Originally I wanted to make rock candied haws, but it was a little troublesome. I just had dried osmanthus and rock sugar at home, so I made osmanthus fried red fruit.
Except for the troublesome pitting, it is actually very simple to make. Although the name is fried red fruit, it is actually not fried, but boiled in sugar water. The cooked fried red fruit looks juicy and bright, and it tastes sweet and sour and appetizing.

Tips:

1. The ratio of hawthorn, drinking water and rock sugar is about 3:3:1. If you like sweetness, you can add a little more sugar.
2. Don't use an iron pan to make fried red fruits, otherwise the taste will have peculiar smell, which will also affect the color of red fruits.
