Ginger Brown Sugar Double Potato Sweet Soup for Nourishing Qi and Blood
1.
Prepare materials (two to three servings).
2.
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into small pieces, soak them in clear water. Why do they have to soak? In order to separate the excess starch in the sweet potato, the cooked soup will be more clear. Remember to change the water several times when soaking.
3.
The quail eggs are cooked in clean water.
4.
When cutting ginger, a man usually slaps it directly with the back of a knife, while a shy female man like me would choose to cut it into several large pieces and then pat it. The red dates are pitted and cut into small pieces, and the cooked quail eggs are shelled.
5.
Take a deeper pot. If you are willing to use a frying pan, I don’t have any comments. Add the flattened old ginger, cut red dates, and a small pot of water. Bring to a high heat and turn to a low heat.
6.
Simmer it on low heat for about 10 minutes, and the soup will turn yellow and a fragrant ginger smell will come out.
7.
Then put in the soaked sweet potatoes and cook until the sweet potatoes are fully cooked. What kind of soaked sweet potatoes are called fully cooked? You poke it with chopsticks.
8.
Add a piece of brown sugar according to your own taste. Don’t ask if I can add brown sugar or white sugar. Please read the name of the dish carefully, thank you.
9.
Finally, put in the boiled quail eggs, boil, turn off the heat, and start eating.
Tips:
Purple potatoes are used, so the sweet soup is darker in color, and you can also replace all of them with sweet potatoes, so that the cooked sweet soup will have a clearer color.
Because it contains ginger, it is not recommended to drink after five o'clock in the afternoon. It is good for girls who are weak or lack of blood during the holiday. If they are cold, they can often cook and drink. Drinking it on an empty stomach in the morning is the best.
