Grey Date Flower Roll
1.
Flour and milk yeast are mixed to form a smooth dough.
2.
Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and place it in a warm place. Leave it to ferment until the tissue is filled with stomata and becomes a honeycomb shape.
3.
Put the gray dates in the fermentation process to wash and remove the pits, and cut into small pieces
4.
After taking out the exhaust gas, divide it into several equal parts.
5.
Take a portion, roll it into an oval shape, and spread it into a layer of chopped gray dates.
6.
Roll it up as shown, cut it in the middle, not to the end.
7.
Open and fold it from the opening, and put it in a steamer with cold water that has a steaming mat in advance.
8.
Then let it stand for two times until it is about twice as big, turn on high heat, turn the water to a medium heat, and steam for 15-20 minutes.
9.
Open the lid and eat.
Tips:
note:
1. The ratio of flour to water to yeast is generally 100:50:1, depending on the weather temperature and the moisture absorption of the flour.
2. Yeast must be in place. Otherwise, it won't be steamed.
3. The lid should be opened quickly, so as not to drip water from the lid on the roll and make the surface of the finished product not smooth
