Grilled Ice Fish with Garlic Vermicelli

Antarctic ice fish should be frozen and kept fresh. It is better to remove the bones. If it is not processed, you have to deal with it. I bought the processed fish. I received it or it was frozen. It should be melted at room temperature.

Rinse the melted ice fish, use kitchen paper to absorb excess water, cut a few slices of ginger, cut some green onions, add an appropriate amount of salt, sprinkle the ingredients and wipe them evenly, marinate and set aside to remove the fishy smell.

Soak the vermicelli in advance, remove and drain the water. Peel the garlic and pound it into minced garlic, clean the chives and parsley, and cut it into fines. Clean the millet pepper and cut it into small pieces. Set up a plate for later use. I will prepare more garlic vermicelli, because this method is very fragrant and delicious. When there are few people, it can be used as a staple food without having to make it separately.

Prepare the casserole, put it on the grill first, and put two pieces of tin foil on it as shown in the figure, so that it is convenient to take the food, otherwise you can leave it alone.

Spread sashimi slices and scallion slices on top of the ice fish that has been deodorized. Because of the small amount, I use a casserole to bake, so I don’t have to move the oven. The casserole must be dry-boiled, remember!

Spread a layer of vermicelli on the ice fish, and then spread a layer of garlic on the vermicelli, and then evenly drizzle a layer of steamed fish soy sauce. Garlic is the key to the source of the aroma of this dish, it must be present. Fans can shop more if they like, or less if they don't. Eat at home, there is no requirement on the amount, just as you like.

Cover the pot, put it on the stove, and grill on high heat for about 10 minutes. It will be fine if you smell a strong garlic scent. If you want to bake it dry, add more time.

Open the lid, take out the food above the ice fish with the help of tools, put it in the plate (the ginger slices and green onions at the bottom are not needed), and then spread a layer of chopped green onions and coriander on top. One with millet pepper on top and one without millet pepper on top, satisfying the family’s preference for spicy and non-spicy flavors.

Take a small pot and put an appropriate amount of cooking oil, heat it until green smoke appears, and pour it on the chopped green onion and coriander while it is hot.
