I have practiced grilling squid several times. This popular street food is not difficult to cook at home. Just prepare the squid and sauce, clean the squid, cut, marinate, and bake it in three steps. The squid baked in the oven is delicious. , The taste is absolutely not inferior, and the materials made by yourself are guaranteed, and there are no additives, so you can eat with confidence!

Grilled Squid

1. Prepare materials

2. Wash the squid, cut into pieces, drain the water, add ginger garlic paste, and mix well with cooking wine

3. BBQ pork sauce and oyster sauce, mix well

4. Marinate the squid for 2-3 hours

5. When marinating the squid, put the bamboo skewers in water to soak

6. String the marinated squid pieces with bamboo skewers

7. Bake in the middle of a 220 degree preheated oven for 8 minutes

8. Take out the baking tray, spread the remaining marinade on the surface of the squid, put it in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. Take out the baking tray again, and rub the marinade on the surface of the squid again, repeat this 2 times

9. Finally, sprinkle with cumin powder and white sesame seeds, and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes. The total baking time is 20 minutes.

Tips:

1. During the roasting process, brushing the marinade several times will make the squid more fragrant. Cumin powder can increase fragrance and remove fishy. You can add chili powder, cumin seeds, etc. according to your preference;
2. The combination of barbecued pork sauce and oyster sauce is both sweet and umami. This combination is used to roast pork belly and other meats that taste very good;
3. The bamboo skewers are soaked in water to prevent the skewers from scorching when they are roasted.
