Gushao Tofu

Tofu diced

Remove the seeds of the green and red pepper and cut into small pieces about the size of tofu.

Cut pineapple into small pieces. (I used canned pineapple.)

Mix the sweet and sour juice ingredients evenly and set aside.

Sprinkle the tofu with cornstarch, so that each piece of tofu is covered with a thin powder.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, fry the tofu until golden on all sides,

In a separate oil pan, fry the green and red peppers until they are broken.

Pour in sweet and sour juice and bring to a boil.

Add pineapple and cook until the sauce thickens slightly. (You can try the taste at this time, and adjust the sweetness and acidity to match your own taste.)

Pour in tofu and stir well.
