Health Porridge with Miscellaneous Grains

Gather all the materials in Figure 1

Picture 1 All the ingredients were soaked overnight and burned in the morning

Put all the ingredients into the pot, fill with water, start to boil, and boil on high heat

Bring the fire to a boil, start to simmer

Simmer for about 40 minutes is almost done.
Tips:
I put some rock sugar when it’s almost ready. I personally feel that it tastes better. All the ingredients must be soaked overnight, because barley and red beans are harder and hard to cook. I think the porridge will taste best if it is cooked on a high gas fire and then simmered on a low fire. Although the method is a bit backward, there are many porridge-making machines, but the porridge produced is not fragrant, so I prefer to do it like my mother back then!
