I watched some health programs and read some health books. In order to keep my family healthy, I added some Chinese medicinal materials when trying to cook the soup. Astragalus can replenish qi, and Chinese yam can help the spleen and stomach.

Health Spare Ribs Soup

1. Spare ribs must be blanched to remove floating powder and cleaned.

2. Peel the yam, cut into sections, and put in clean water to avoid blackening.

3. Slice ginger and set aside astragalus.

4. About 2 hours.

5. When the soup is about to simmer, add wolfberry and red dates.

6. If you like green onions, you can add some green onions when they are out of the pot.

Tips:

The ingredients are best prepared in advance; the ribs are more tender; the red dates and wolfberries are best to be added before they are out of the pot.
