High-value Pumpkin Pie

Prepare all the ingredients as shown in the picture. What I made here is a package of glutinous rice flour (500g), which can be made in two large pots. If there are few people, you can reduce the amount appropriately.

Cut the purple sweet potato and pumpkin into pieces and steam it for 15 minutes (I didn't weigh the required amount, but I'm just a rough idea. You can steam more pumpkin and purple sweet potato, the extra can be eaten directly and very sweet)

Take an appropriate amount of purple potato puree with a spoon and add white sugar and stir evenly. If the purple potato puree is dry, you can add some pure milk. Add a small amount first, which can be kneaded into a dough. You don't need to add milk if it doesn't dry.

Add 1 packet of glutinous rice flour to half a packet of cornstarch, pour it into a bowl and stir well, add the steamed pumpkin while it is hot, stir with chopsticks first, and make the dough by hand.

Divide the pumpkin dough and purple potato puree into equal small balls and rub them with your hands. The purple potato balls are smaller than the pumpkin balls, which is better.

Take a pumpkin dough and squeeze it by hand, put it in the purple potato ball, then slowly tighten it with a tiger's mouth, and then round it with your hands.

Put the wrapped dough on the chopping board, take a toothpick to gently press the dough into a symmetrical rice pattern, and then use the toothpick to press down along the pattern. The pumpkin pattern made by this method is more symmetrical, as shown in the upper right corner. Use a toothpick to press out a number of irregular lines from bottom to top. The pumpkin shape made by this method is more natural and realistic. Finally, take a black raisin and put it on the dough to make a pumpkin pedicle. The cute little pumpkin is ready!

Put the prepared pumpkin on a corn coat and steam it for 15 minutes on high heat!

Tips:
1. After the pumpkin is steamed, add glutinous rice flour while it is hot, so that the dough will be sticky and soft enough, and the dough will be easy to disperse when it is cold.
2. For those who like to have a dry and delicate mouth, the purple potato mash can be sifted through a mesh, and then add sugar, so that the dry mouth is better.
3. After the pumpkin dough is kneaded, it must be covered with a damp cloth, and the divided small dough should also be covered with a damp cloth, otherwise the dough will be easy to dry, and it will fall apart and crack when it is wrapped.
4. Black raisins can be replaced with goji berries, and they look good together.
