Home of Roses--beef Boiled with Beer
1.
Wash it off with detergent when you buy it. Boil a large pot of water before it can be used officially. The body of the pot is made of iron and the inner wall of the pot is enamel, which is easier to clean;
2.
Cut the beef into about 3 cm cubes;
3.
Cut the celery into sections, the carrots into pieces, the onions into small pieces, the bacon into cubes, the red potatoes without peeling and the hob pieces and the garlic into mince;
4.
Saute the bacon until the oil comes out, and put the residue in a red iron pan that will be used later;
5.
Add beef cubes, fry on each side until deep golden brown, set aside, and leave oil on the bottom of the pan;
6.
Put another 1 tablespoon of butter in the pot, heat until it melts, add onion diced, and burst for a while;
7.
Pour the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant;
8.
Pour the whole can of beer in the frying pan, stir for a while, and cook for a while;
9.
Pour all the contents of the pan into the big red iron pan, then add the potato pieces;
10.
Cook for 15-20 minutes, then add celery, carrots, a little salt and sugar (not too much), 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1 small can of tomato sauce (227g), 1 tsp of oregano, minced 1/2 tsp of rosemary, 1 cup of stock, stir well;
11.
Simmer until the sauce thickens and season;
12.
Forgot to cook, I think of cooking Grits. It is convenient and quick. Use a small pot, add appropriate amount of water, pour coarse corn flour, and cook on low heat. If there is not enough water, add 2 tablespoons one by one. Do not add too much water at once to cook. The paste becomes transparent, then put it on the plate, leaving the upper space empty;
13.
Put the boiled beef and potatoes in the middle of Grits, and you can start.
Tips:
1. The red pot is a cast iron pot, which is more suitable for slow stewing. There is a layer of ceramic on the inner wall to make the inner wall of the pot smooth, so it is easier to wash;
2. The beef must be fried, otherwise it will be rotten and unformed if it is cooked for a long time. If it is fried, it will basically maintain its shape after being cooked for a long time;
Third, the beer brand is not distinguished, the beer boiled pork, beef, chicken and rabbit meat are very fragrant.
4. Don't add too much salt and sugar when adding seasoning for the first time. If the water is long, it tastes good, but it will become too salty when it is boiled until the water is dry. Wait until the juice is thick, and then add salt and sugar to taste. This is safer .
