Homemade Lotus Root Slices

Prepare 370 grams of lotus root. Cut the lotus root into thin slices, about two millimeters thick. Wash away the cut starch.

After the water in the pot is boiled, put in the lotus root slices that have been dewatered.

Cover the lid and wait for the pot to open

Mince ginger and two cloves of garlic, add four spoons of purple vinegar, and place in a larger container.

Add 3.5 grams of table salt.

After boiling, boil for 30 seconds, and transfer the lotus root slices directly into the ginger garlic vinegar water.

Stir with chopsticks. If the container is big enough, you can bump it directly in the basin.

After letting cool, it is ready to eat. The container should be covered with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out.
