Homemade Osmanthus Candy

I took most of the freshly picked osmanthus

Use two mesh sieves, one large and one small, to hold the small one for sweet-scented osmanthus, put the large one on it to prevent it from floating up, shake it in the water, and remove the impurities.

Dry the osmanthus

Prepare all the ingredients, dried osmanthus, sugar, bottles (cleaned and dried in advance)

Put a layer of osmanthus under the bottle first

Spread another layer of sugar, and press the layer tightly, and repeat until the bottle is about 80% full
7.
Place as much sugar as possible on the top to prevent the osmanthus from floating up during fermentation
Tips:
1. Make sure that the whole process and the tools used are free of oil and water;
2. Spread as much sugar as possible on the top layer;
3. The prepared sweet-scented osmanthus can be stored for a long time, and the longer it is, the more fragrant it will be.
