Preview of the required ingredients: 1 part of Tongrentang's sour plum soup ingredients, dried osmanthus, rock sugar about 150-250g, about 10 black dates, about 6 cardamom

Pour two liters of pure water into the casserole

Except rock sugar and sweet-scented osmanthus, put all other ingredients in water and soak for 2-4 hours

When the time is up, go to the stove and turn on the fire

After boiling on high heat, cover, turn to low heat, and cook for 45 minutes

Prepare a large bowl (a basin is also acceptable), put in rock sugar, and set aside

Turn off the heat after 45 minutes

Pour the cooked sour plum soup into a bowl, and pour the soup residue back into the casserole

Add about 1 liter of water to the remaining soup dregs and boil again

The same steps as the first time, boil on high heat, cover, turn to low heat and cook for half an hour.

At that point, fill out all the soup, without the soup residue, add a little dried osmanthus (pour it in a large enough bowl or basin, like me, if you don’t have it, you can use several bowls to separate it, but be sure to put the first The second pot of soup will taste better if it is evenly mixed.) Let cool and refrigerate for better taste
