Homemade Tomato Sauce
1.
First, let’s introduce a quick method of peeling tomato skin:
2.
1. Wash the tomato, take a large fork and insert it from the stalk to fix it (the example on the picture is at the beginning, and after experiment, insert the most convenient peeling from the stalk);
3.
2. Turn on the gas stove and turn the tomato back and forth on the fire to heat up. After a while, you will hear a "pump", and the skin of the tomato will explode due to the heating;
4.
3. Then you can easily peel off the skin completely.
5.
4. Then cut the tomato into small pieces (the picture is still a big piece, continue to cut in the middle);
6.
5. Heat a small piece of butter in the pan and heat it to melt;
7.
6. Add the chopped tomatoes and stir-fry on a medium-to-low heat, while constantly rolling and stirring to avoid muddy bottom;
8.
7. Finally, when it is almost into a paste, add sugar, salt, and chicken essence to taste according to your preference. It's very simple, the whole process takes less than 10 minutes, and the delicious tomato sauce is ready.
Tips:
1. Choose tomatoes with a rosy and softer color. The ketchup is good in color and easy to boil;
2. If you like a more delicate taste, you can put the diced tomatoes in a blender to make a paste, and then boil it;
3. Because I didn't add any water when I fry the ketchup, it is already very thick without adding starch.
4. In addition, the tomato sauce made with butter will be thicker and smoother after cooling. It is recommended to use it. If not, use olive oil for salad oil.
