Honey Grapefruit Tea

I bought two red-heart honey pomelos, which are relatively small, two more than a catty.

Wash the grapefruit with salt first to prevent wax on the outside.

There is hot water to wash away the salt on the surface, and the skin is peeled with a planer.

Peel the grapefruit meat and separate them

Shredded grapefruit peel

Boil the water and put in the right amount of rock sugar

Bring the water to a boil. When the rock sugar melts, add the grapefruit peel. Bring to a boil and simmer on a low heat for about ten minutes until it becomes soft.

Bring to a boil and slowly boil it with a small fire, and remove the froth with a spoon.

When the water is almost dry, turn off the heat. When it is cold, put it in a clean bottle and add honey. I use Jiufengtang’s May locust fragrance, authentic acacia raw honey.
