Honey Grilled Barbecued Pork
1.
Wash the pork, then use a paper towel to absorb the moisture, cut into large pieces, insert some small holes with a toothpick, peel and chop garlic, and slice ginger for later use
2.
Then add all the seasonings and mix until evenly. Put a lid on, put it in the refrigerator, marinate for 12 hours until it is fully flavored, and stir it several times during the period to make it evenly coated with the sauce
3.
Preheat the oven at 190 degrees, spread two layers of tin foil on the baking tray, pick out the garlic and ginger from the marinated meat (cannot be roasted together, the garlic is easy to burn)
4.
Place the marinated char siu pork on the baking tray, place it on the middle layer, bake for 20 minutes, take it out and turn it over, brush with a layer of seasoning, bake for another 20 minutes, remove and brush with honey and syrup, move to the upper layer and bake for another 3 minutes.
5.
Take out the roasted char siu and let it cool and cut into pieces with a clean knife and cutting board.
Tips:
1. After the meat is washed, use a paper towel or towel to absorb the moisture and use a toothpick to insert a small hole in order to better taste when marinating.
2. Spread two layers of tin foil when baking, because sometimes when baking, there will be a little sticking problem, if there are no two layers, sometimes, when turning over, a small amount of tin foil will stick to it, which is easy to break. It is easy to stain the baking pan, so it is safer to spread on two layers.
3. Remember to take out the garlic and ginger when roasting, otherwise it will stick to the meat and burn easily.
4. Finally, a layer of honey water is applied to increase the brightness of the surface. The barbecued pork will be slightly sweet, so you can omit it if you don’t like it.
