Inch Golden Mung Bean Sprouts
1.
Select mung beans: remove the broken and bored mung beans, soak them in an empty bowl for 5 hours (if any beans are floating on the water, remove them and throw them away)
2.
After soaking, the beans are already very full. Prepare a clean and sterile leaking basket. If there is nothing new, you can clean it and scald it with boiling water.
3.
Spread a damp cloth on the bottom of the basket and spread the mung beans evenly on the cloth
4.
Cover the mung beans with a damp cloth and place them in the backlight to let them germinate. Water them every 4-5 hours. After about 12 hours, you can see that the beans have begun to sprout.
5.
After pouring the water again, cover with a damp cloth and press a 3 kg weight on the damp cloth (because there is no suitable size container, the bag is filled with water)
6.
It has germinated to the state in the left picture after 36 hours, and germinated to the state in the right picture after 48 hours. During this period, you need to water once every 4-5 hours. Try not to uncover the wet cloth on it. You can water directly from the cloth (I am for taking pictures, the bean sprouts tend to turn green when exposed to light). After watering, continue to press on the heavy objects.
7.
After 72 hours, it has germinated and matured, about an inch long, and the cloth is taken out directly, just like a flower in full bloom
Tips:
1. The incubation basket and cloth are clean and sterile, and can be disinfected by scalding with boiling water in advance;
2. I grew bean sprouts in summer, and the room temperature is high, so the time for cultivating bean sprouts will be relatively short. In winter, you can arrange the steps according to the development of bean sprouts;
3. The bean sprouts must be heavy. The greater the pressure, the more dynamic the bean sprouts will grow, thicker and faster;
4. Watering must be diligent, bean sprouts will not grow without water;
5. The steps of selecting mung beans cannot be saved. Rotten beans will not only not sprout, but will also rot and affect the growth environment of other bean sprouts;
6. It is best to choose a leaky breeding basket to prevent the stagnant water from stinking and rotten bean sprouts!
