Jujube Rice Dumplings

Wash the zong leaves in advance, soak them in warm water for several hours

Soak the round glutinous rice a few hours in advance

Pour the water out of the soaked glutinous rice, prepare the jujube paste and tools

Use two or three zong leaves, stack them and arrange them into a funnel shape

Put glutinous rice, then put jujube puree

Cover the last layer with glutinous rice, and it’s 80% full

Then cover the zong leaves, use any position you like to wrap the zongzi so as not to leak the rice, and tie it with a rope or straw

Wrap all the glutinous rice

In a large saucepan, add the rice dumplings, fill with water, turn on high heat and boil, change to low heat and cook for two hours, turn off the heat, and simmer for one hour

The sweet and glutinous rice dumplings are ready
Tips:
The glutinous rice should be soaked for enough time to make it soft and glutinous. The filling can be changed to whatever you like.
