Kidney Beans and Red Dates
1.
I made my own kidney bean and red date fillings, but I deliberately didn’t make them too crushed, and it’s a grainy filling.
2.
Take the chilled butter out of the refrigerator and add powdered sugar. Butter does not need to be softened
3.
Sift in the flour
4.
Knead it into cornmeal with your hands. The butter does not soften, so you can knead it with flour directly, and the process of making the flour wrap the butter is actually a crunching effect.
5.
Add the egg mixture to the kneaded flour
6.
Make the dough gently, don't knead it too much, so as not to affect the crisping, wrap it in plastic wrap for half an hour
7.
Roll the dough into a rectangular piece with a thickness of about 3 mm. Put the filling into a long strip and put it on top
8.
Rolled up and wrapped tightly
9.
Cut into sections
10.
Put it in a baking tray lined with greased paper, brush the surface with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame seeds
11.
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees for 5 minutes, put it in the oven, put the second layer below, and bake for 20 minutes
12.
The baked bite is crispy. The one I made is a bit big, and I can't eat it in one bite. Heroic one bite, ha ha
Tips:
The butter does not soften, so it is directly rubbed with flour, and the process of letting the flour wrap the butter is actually a shortening effect.
