Kumquat Beef

Wash the beef and cut into pieces.

Peel the lotus root, wash and slice; wash the kumquat, cut into half; wash the hawthorn, cut into half, and remove the seeds.

Put a proper amount of oil on the pot to heat up, add green onions and ginger slices and saute, add beef and cooking wine and fry until the color changes.

Add the hawthorn and tomato sauce and stir well.

Pour in the lotus root and stir fry for a fragrance.

Pour in an appropriate amount of boiling water, boil over high heat, skim off the foam, and simmer on low heat for 40 minutes.

Add kumquats, salt, pepper, and sugar, and continue to simmer for another 20 minutes.

Stew until the soup is thick and red.
