Laba Congee
1.
Soak the black beans, soybeans, red beans, lotus seeds and peanut kernels two hours in advance (if there is not enough time to cook the porridge, soak them overnight), and wash them twice. Except rock sugar, the other materials should be washed twice for later use.
2.
Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, heat up, pour all the ingredients into the pot, bring to a boil on high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours (if you are afraid of the pot, stir a few times in the middle)
Tips:
1. If you don't have enough time to cook the porridge, you can soak the ingredients in water one night in advance, and then cook them the next morning. The ingredients will be easier to cook.
Of course, if you soak the ingredients one night in advance, get up early the next morning and simmer for an hour or two, the porridge will taste better.
2. After the porridge is boiled, if you want to make it more viscous, you can add water in a bowl, make some starch paste, pour it into the pot, and boil it for about five minutes...
