Laba is the first season before the Spring Festival. Starting from this day, the taste of the New Year has gradually become richer. Chinese people have always had the custom of drinking Laba porridge, eating Laba beans and Laba garlic on this day. Customs vary from place to place. Compared to the north, we in Hunan don't pay much attention to the Laba festival. Only a small number of families will cook Laba porridge and eat Laba beans on this day.

1. Soak the red beans in advance; put the soaked red beans and clean barley into the pot first, and add enough water at a time

2. After an hour and a half, add peanuts and oatmeal and continue to cook; after another hour, add the cleaned millet, rice, black rice and glutinous rice
