Pueraria lobata (called Fen Ge in Guangdong) has a medicinal effect for clearing away heat and toxins, and the taste of the soup is also very fragrant. I like it very much! There happened to be a section of lotus root, and it was put in the pot. With the ribs and other ingredients, the soup is very rich and the taste is very sweet, not bad! "

Lotus Root and Pueraria Rib Soup

1. Pork ribs and sliced ginger together to blanch the blood,

2. Then wash and drain for later use;

3. Pueraria lobata wipe clean the skin and cut into slices (preferably not peeled, the skin effect is good, and the nutrition is high)

4. Wash lotus root, peeled and cut into large pieces (not peeled)

5. Peel the carrots and cut into hob pieces for later use;

6. Tangerine peel, barley, red bean, candied dates are washed and drained for later use;

7. Cut corn into sections;

8. Boil about 2.5L of water in the pot. After the water is boiled, put all the above-prepared ingredients into the pot. Turn on the high heat for 5 minutes and then turn to the low heat for about 2 hours;

9. (I moved to the soup mode of the rice cooker), just add proper amount of salt to season the cooked soup before eating!

Tips:

No salt can be added, because the ingredients are very sweet and it is good to drink. It can also be used for babies over 8 months old!
